Pivotal Moment Expert
Something is calling you forward.
Maybe you've already been in the experience — the program, the training, the journey that asked something real of you. You felt something shift, and you're here to claim what that meant.
Or maybe you're at the beginning. The call is there but the experience hasn't happened yet — and you're curious about what this kind of work could open up for you.
Either way, you're in the right place. There's a path here for where you are.
For more than two decades, I've worked at the intersection of emotional intelligence, personal effectiveness, and leadership development — with Fortune 500 companies and business owners generating seven and eight figures in revenue. My career has taken me across the Americas, Asia, and Europe, partnering with organizations like Cable & Wireless, Verizon, Ralph Lauren, Estée Lauder/Clinique, Pfizer, and Honda — and with thousands of individual leaders navigating what's next.
What I kept noticing in all of these spaces: the people who were most transformed weren't just skilled. They had lived through a moment — a pivot — that changed how they led, related, and understood themselves. And most of them had never been given the language or the space to fully claim it.
That observation became a research question. In 2025, I completed my doctoral dissertation — a phenomenological study of the pivotal moments that shape women leaders and entrepreneurs. What emerged from that research is the 7C Pivotal Leadership Framework™ — a map of the internal terrain of transformation that now anchors everything I offer, and became the foundation of Pivotal Leadership Group, where I support individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations in unlocking their pivotal moments and turning them into their next leadership edge.
The through-line across all of it? Supporting leaders and organizations to lead with compassion that creates lasting impact — and betters our humanity. One person, one pivotal moment at a time.
I'm also Chief Design Officer and Lead Facilitator at LeadTheChange.org — a mindfulness movement that meets you where you're at and supports you where you want to grow.

Between starting and defending:
I gave birth to my second child. Moved across the country. Gave birth to my third. Relocated internationally. ...And defended my dissertation — on vacation!
That would not have been possible without a program flexible enough to meet me where I was. I am genuinely grateful for that. But what I know now is that it also would not have been possible without everything the research was pointing to: the curiosity that kept me asking the question, the community that held me through it, the ability to come to terms with what each season asked of me, and the choice — again and again — to keep going.
I share this because I don't just study pivotal moments. I continue to live them in real time. And that's changed how I understand this work — not as a theory, but as something I navigate from the inside, again and again.
You completed something. A leadership development program. A professional development cohort. A health or lifestyle transformation. A workplace initiative. Something that asked something real of you — and when it was over, the door closed and it was up to you to take what you learned and figure out what to do with it from there.
Inside that experience, something shifted. A moment — or several — where you crossed a threshold you couldn't come back from. Where something in how you saw yourself, related to others, or understood your leadership changed permanently.
But here's what also happens: life pulls us back into autopilot. Without a point of reference — something that names who you became and why it matters — the most important lessons begin to fade. The breakthrough becomes a memory. The transformation quietly retreats. And before long, you're leading from who you were before the experience, not from who you became inside it.
That's the gap this work closes. Each of the seven constituents of the 7C Pivotal Leadership Framework™ serves as a point of reference — a way of staying connected to the relevance of your transformation, no matter how much time has passed or how loud life has gotten.

"Masterful at connecting the dots"
"Jenn has the masterful ability of connecting dots and turning chaos into a pattern that is relatable and easy to work with. She's able to read situations and do what needs to be done in order to make even the wonkiest situations better. It's her superpower."
- M.R., on her experience in a Collaborative Initiative for her business
"Firm but compassionate."
"There was a participant who was really struggling with some personal issues and was becoming disruptive to the group. Instead of shutting them down, Jenn found a way to honor their pain while also protecting the space for everyone else. She was firm but compassionate, and the way she handled it was masterful."
- Rhema F., on her experience with Dr. Jenn during a training while Speaking & Facilitating
"I couldn't have done this without your support..."
"What stands out most for me from this entire process is how powerful it is when people feel genuinely listened to, not just consulted. The honesty and nuance that came through the interviews reinforced for me that communication... isn’t primarily about channels or tools, but about trust, clarity of intent, and consistency between what we say and how we act. That’s something I want to carry forward: creating spaces where dialogue is real, feedback has a clear 'landing place,' and people can see how their voices shape decisions. If we can lead from that place, I believe the rest meaning... will follow in a much more grounded way!"
- S.S., on her experience with a Collaborative Initiative between Dr. Jenn and her employer
